The English progressive rock band Yes has toured extensively for 4 decades.

The band played live from its creation in late 1968. There first overseas shows were in Switzerland in 1969. They played regularly through to December 1980, with the band splitting up early the next year. The band reformed in 1983, and regular tours resumed in 1984 and continued over the next few decades. The longest break in touring came from late 2004 through to late 2008. Touring has tended to focus on the UK and the rest of Europe, North America and Japan, but the band have also played other parts of the world, notably Australia.

"Close to the Edge and Back" (40th Anniversary) Tour 2008 [CANCELLED]Edit

"In The Present" Tour 2008-2010Edit

In 2007, the band planned summer 2008 dates under as the Close to the Edge and Back tour, with Jon Anderson, Chris Squire, Steve Howe and Alan White being joined by Oliver Wakeman on keyboards, as a replacement for (as suggested by) his father, Rick Wakeman. However, Anderson suffered acute respiratory failure before the tour, which had to be cancelled. With Anderson out of action recuperating, Squire, Howe and White went on tour with O. Wakeman and replacement vocalist Benoit David.

They initially toured in late 2008 the "In The Present" tour as "Steve Howe, Chris Squire and Alan White of Yes", but adopted the "Yes" name by the summer of 2009.

An initial tour leg in February 2009 was cut short when Squire suffered a medical emergency.
