The results were presented on a one-hour television special later in 2009 hosted by Brian Williams and Claude Mailhot, and broadcast by CTV, TSN and its french counterpart RDS.[1] The top 3 were also be added to the Royal Canadian Mint's special series of commemorative 25-cent coins for the Olympics.[2]

The initiative was promoted across many of CTVglobemedia's properties, including its Olympic websites, on-air advertisements, print advertisements, and billboard signs. A contest was also be held alongside the voting that would award two people with a trip to the games.[2]
